About the Role:

Title: Cloud Architect GCC

Experience: 12 - 15 years

Location: Chennai

What you’ll do:

• Architect and implement the transition from on-premise data center strategy to a hybrid-cloud across Azure, AWS, and Oracle Cloud.
• Collaborate with IT Security to  design and security and administration protocols for Azure.
• Collaborate with IT security to enhance privacy, security and compliance between AWS, Azure, and On-prem environments.
• Collaborate with DevOps to establish and create automated development environments.
• Build and automate dynamic virtual desktop computing for business teams.
• Create and execute cost optimization reports for cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate closely with IT teams to enhance our cloud infrastructure and optimize its performance.
• Asses our cloud services usage and establish cost effective and best practices.
• Respond and resolve technical difficulties in a timely manner.
• Vet and select cloud services and third-party services
• Provide training and assistance to employees whose jobs need them to interact with the cloud-based services.
• Convert the technical requirements of projects into a suitable architecture over cloud.
• Stay abreast of recent technologies, services and trends in cloud landscape which can improve performance and/or save costs.

Requirements 

• 12 years overall experience in IT Administration.
• 5+ years of experience as a Cloud Architect.
• Expertise in Azure Automation State Configuration and PowerShell DSC for Linux
• Proficiency in cloud security best practices, tools, and techniques.
• Able to participate in on-call rotation for 24x7 support.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and work under pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills that allow successful interaction with all areas of the organization.
• Solid interpersonal skills with the demonstrated ability to develop and maintain productive relationships.
• High level of enthusiasm and energy; professional demeanor
• Demonstrates a 'can-do' spirit, a sense of optimism, ownership, and commitment.

Bonus Experience

• Certifications in AWS, ITIL, TOGAF, PMP, CKA and/or recent experience with cloud hyperscalers will be preferred
• Experience in ecommerce domain or similar is preferred.
• Knowledge/ experience on SAP cloud will be an added advantage.

Education & experience

• Master / Bachelor of computer science / software engineering / related field.
