For our client – a multinational digital partner for sustainable development and efficiency, we are searching for a Field Service Engineer (HVAC) for the territory of Europe. Our client is a leader in digital transformation, integrating world-leading energy technologies and automation, software and services that enables homes, buildings, data centres and infrastructure to use energy in a safe and sustainable manner.

The Field Service Engineer (HVAC) is responsible for providing professional services for a range of cooling products produced by the company to customers including technical site analysis, resolving customer issues and performing service on-site activities for the company’s Cooling Equipment & Systems (air cooling, air- or water-cooled chillers).

Main responsibilities:

• Perform Startup & Commissioning on all equipment across the entire cooling product range
• Perform planned / unscheduled and preventive maintenance and service interventions
• Evaluate unit installation (e.g. the quality of pipes for CRAC)
• Ability to perform onsite adjustments to bring the units to the best running conditions
• Be able to identify if the failure is related to a quality/software issue /operation condition issue 
• Properly document, label, and return all defective parts utilized in the repair of equipment 
• Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures
• Business trips across Europe 50% up to 80% of the time - locations mainly Poland, Germany, Switzerland, and France (2-3 weeks for a mission)
• Train the customers on basic operations of the equipment

Desired experience, skills and qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in a similar position
• Confirmed experience with Cooling Equipment & Solutions (air cooling, air- or water-cooled chillers)
• Extensive knowledge of HVAC principles
• Good Software tools knowledge (MS Office, Acrobat, AutoCAD)
• Good knowledge of CRAC units 
• Ability to perform duties independently and with general directions
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business procedures, professional documents, technical procedures, and governmental regulations 
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals 
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. 
• Handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work in a team
• Excellent English (both oral and written) – level B2 as a minimum
• University degree – Electrotechnical, Mechanical or other equivalent education
