Senior Financial Analyst
Location: Romania, remote
Workstyle: Remote, with 1-3 days/month of on-site work
Responsibilities:
- Preparing month-end reports for management, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements and forecasts.
- Provides complex financial analysis for businesses.
- Extract financial/non-financial data and convert them into the meaningful reports, helpful in taking business decisions.
- Good exposure of budgeting process and on variance analysis with the actuals
- IFRS reporting knowledge (or willing to learn).
- Prepare some on demand /ad-hoc reports requested by the CFO.
- Identifies opportunities for process improvement and policy development.
- Create PowerPoint presentations with needful tables and graphs.
Education/ Experience:
- 5+ years overall combined accounting and finance experience.
- A degree focused on Accounting, Finance or similar.
- Proven working experience as a Financial Analyst/Controller.
- Knowledge of BI (Business Intelligence) tools would be added advantage.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Experience with creating financial statements.
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process.
- Strong analytical, problem solving & organization skills.
- Advanced Excel skills
Additional info:
The candidate should have a background in Audit, as it will contribute to the internal and statutory audits. There’s support from Big4 companies regarding the statutory audit.
