Finance Director ( Merano )

A great opportunity to join as a Finance Director at a Luxury 5 star hotel in Merano, Italy

Responsibility

• Supervises administrative accounting employees in a full range of functions such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Receivable/Collections, Purchasing, Audit, Payroll and/or Accounting Operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent and 5-10 years of experience in accounting or auditing in the hotel industry, with at least 1-7 years in a Finance Director or similar role in Italy, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Knowledge of accounting management duties such as negotiating hotel space and lease agreements with tenants; payroll processing; resource management; providing business projections, displacement analysis, preparation of government reports, tax returns, etc., as required. A professional designation or certification in accounting or finance is preferred.

Technical Skills and Knowledge

• Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
• Ability to collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills, including a good understanding of financial valuation methodology.
• Advanced ability to use Microsoft applications, such as Excel and PowerPoint.
