Financial Controller (Veterinary Clinics Network)

Our client, a prominent and innovative leader in the veterinary services sector, is rapidly expanding its operations in Romania. As a pioneer in the industry, they seek to fill this role to drive the continued success of their business. The company is well-established and recognized as a market leader in Poland, and they are now focusing on their Romanian expansion.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Financial Controller in an international setting within large or medium-sized organizations or corporate finance departments.
  • Degree in finance or accounting.
  • Strong ability to build relationships with non-financial stakeholders.
  • Expertise in integrating business and financial aspects.
  • Excellent English proficiency, along with advanced Excel and PowerBI skills.
  • Proactive and collaborative with strong stress management and time prioritization abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage financial planning, forecasting, and reporting while conducting thorough analyses within the company.
  • Collaborate with external accounting firms.
  • Analyze financial results, identify trends, and create accurate reports for the Management Board.
  • Oversee performance management, including KPI reporting and driving related actions.
  • Prepare financial forecasts and budgets, and support strategic planning initiatives.
  • Engage with clinic operations teams on financial matters, providing necessary training and support.
  • Ensure the integrity of financial data across the organization.
  • Report financial results to senior management, including the CEO, CFO, and Clinic Managers.
  • Administer budget preparation and monitor sales results, margins, and expenses.
  • Conduct gap analysis and support the creation of procedures to mitigate risks.
  • Manage cash flow reporting and forecasting, and control receivables, payables, and inventories.
