SAP Project Manager

The ideal candidate will oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of SAP projects from initiation through completion. The SAP Project Manager will ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while meeting quality standards and stakeholder expectations. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to effectively manage cross-functional teams and drive successful SAP project outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning and implementation of SAP projects, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets to track progress and ensure adherence to timelines and financial constraints.
• Manage project resources, including internal team members, external consultants, and vendors.
• Coordinate and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to define project requirements and expectations.
• Manage project risks, issues, and changes, and escalate as needed to ensure timely resolution.
• Monitor project progress and performance and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
• Conduct project meetings and facilitate discussions to resolve conflicts and solve problems.
• Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and best practices.
• Manage project documentation, including project charters, budgets, schedules, and project closure documents.
• Mentor and coach project team members and foster a collaborative team environment

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager leading SAP implementation project.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP ERP system functionalities and modules (such as FI/CO, MM, SD, etc.).
• Experience in managing full project lifecycle from initiation to closure.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• PMP certification or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
• SAP certification(s) in relevant modules is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration projects.
• Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology and tools.
• Previous experience in industries such as manufacturing, retail, healthcare, or utilities.
• Experience managing global or cross-functional teams.
