Job - Sr. Manager – Procurement

 Responsibilities:

  • Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals. Conduct market research to identify and evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery. Manage supplier relationships and ensure compliance with contracts.
  • Contract Management: Draft, review, negotiate, and manage contracts with suppliers and service providers. Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Monitor contract performance, address disputes, and maintain accurate records.
  • Negotiation: Lead negotiations to secure optimal terms and manage cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality and service standards. Ensure ethical conduct and legal compliance in all procurement activities.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate procurement risks. Develop contingency plans for supply chain disruptions and ensure alignment with sustainability and corporate social responsibility goals.
  • Vendor Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers. Evaluate vendor performance, manage the selection process, and issue RFPs and RFQs.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to procurement policies, procedures, and regulations. Stay informed on changes in procurement laws and best practices; conduct regular audits and implement corrective actions.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present reports on cost, savings, and supplier performance. Utilize data analytics to drive procurement decisions and improve efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. [MBA preferred]
  • Experience: Age 38-40 years with 8-10 years in procurement, contract management, or supply chain management; proven success in contract negotiation and supplier management.
  • Skills: Strong grasp of procurement processes and contract law, excellent negotiation and communication skills, data analysis proficiency, and experience with procurement software (Reverse Auction/SAP) and MS Office.
  • Other Requirements: Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, high integrity and ethical standards.
