Panamax Broker (leading international shipbroking company, Glyfada)

Our Client is an international dry cargo shipbroker with almost 25 years of history.

For their exponentially growing operations, they are looking for a ‘Panamax Broker’ for their offices in the southern suburbs of Athens.

Your Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain relationships with shipowners and charterers in Greece and abroad.
• Actively engage in the Panamax market, providing timely and accurate market intelligence.
• Negotiate and close chartering deals, ensuring mutually beneficial terms for all parties.
• Monitor market trends and provide strategic insights to clients.
• Collaborate effectively within a team to achieve common goals and business targets.
• Maintain an up-to-date fixture list to demonstrate your proven track record.

Your Profile:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position, either locally or internationally.
• Proven track record based on a comprehensive fixture list.
• Strong ability to cooperate and perform within a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on business relationship development.
• Detailed knowledge of the Panamax market, including specific areas and tonnage sizes currently active.
• Established strong relationships with shipowners and charterers in Greece and abroad.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
• A maritime background and/or university education in a relevant field.
