Role: Managing Director - India

Location: Bandra Kurla Complex (Mumbai) One of the largest media companies in the Middle East, ITP Media Group are looking for a Managing Director to spearhead its Indian business. ITP Media Group reaches a global audience of more than 42 million people through its leading websites, portals, social media platforms, events, conferences, award ceremonies, magazines, books and social media influencer agency. ITP Media Group’s luxury portfolio includes major international and regional brands such as Time Out, Arabian Business, Harper’s Bazaar Arabia, Esquire Middle East, Grazia Middle East, Cosmopolitan Middle East and GQ Middle East. ITP India produces a number of B2B multi-platform brands across various verticals that serve the sub-continent. Several of these brands are sister brands to ITP Media Group’s Middle East products (Construction Week, Digital Studio, Hotelier for example) although are fully independent and are wholly run and managed by the India HQ. ITP are seeking a Managing Director who will be tasked with running the Indian office, managing the P&L, launching new products and driving the digital growth of ITP India’s brands.

Requirements: The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial, proactive manager with in-depth experience of the digital media landscape both in India and globally. Commercial experience would be beneficial. The right candidate will display an excellent understanding of digital media sales, Programmatic and lead generation, and most definitely be able to think outside the traditional media parameters and bring together all facets of a media brand in the 21st century including events, social media, and print as well as online. Identifying markets to launch new products into, managing a company of diverse commercial, editorial, events and administrative people, running and maintaining a P&L with full accountability, driving the ambitious growth of the company, particularly in terms of digital practice and commercial actualization, are the requirements for the role. Reporting in to ITP Media’s global HQ in Dubai, we are looking for someone dynamic who likes to work in a busy, ever-changing media environment, is driven, accountable, and socially smart, highly organized, a team player who uses their own initiative and communicates effectively.
