UX Designer

The ideal candidate gets to work in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, and result driven environment. Applicants must have substantial experience informing designs through critical design thinking, rationalizing for B2B, or B2C systems, websites, mobile devices, and handheld.

Reporting to: Principal UX / Design Director

You will work on:

• Execute and drive multiple UXD projects by diagnosing business and user needs.
• Apply all pieces of user-centred design methodology and processes.
• Plan and conduct primary and secondary research.
• Convert user insights into concept designs that are not only compelling but are contrasting ideas looking at business challenges from varied angles.
• Design and manage all interaction design activities including visual design coordination with global designers.
• Present design decisions to the stakeholders that are backed up by strong experience design principles and rationale.
• Lead other designers and guide them to deliver the best user experience. Guide them, review frequently, and set the bar.
• Coordinate with technology teams to bring designs to a pixel-perfect reality.
• Manage communications at all levels and be responsible for project deliverables with quality and on time.

You will love the role if you have:-

• 4-7 years of hands-on experience of all user-centred design processes. Expert level knowledge UCD methodology, information architecture, navigation models and interaction design principles.
• Experience in designing for various devices and systems (mobile, handheld, TV, display systems).
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication, management, negotiation, presentation and client relations skills.
• Ability to trigger business discussions with program managers, CTOs, CIOs, CEOs.
• A clear and effective presentation style to inform and influence important design decisions and maintain credibility.
• Deeper eagerness for observing human behavior, and synthesizing insights into design.
• Be organized and showcase excellent time management skills and be highly detail oriented.
• Ability to manage own timelines in an efficient manner while receiving strategic and tactical direction from project stakeholders.
