Area Business Manager

Job Specifications:

  • Drive Performance and Profitability: Take ownership of driving performance and profitability within assigned clinics.
  • Inspire Service Excellence: Enable and inspire the team to deliver excellent service, aiming for 100% customer satisfaction.
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Foster relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • BTL Activity Management: Own and manage below-the-line (BTL) activities for lead generation.
  • Business Opportunity Creation: Create and drive business opportunities to build a sustainable business in the assigned territory.
  • Commercial Acumen: Possess a commercial/business inclination and maintain a KPI-driven mindset.
  • Data Management Skills: Exhibit excellent data management skills, deriving trends and patterns for informed decision-making.
  • Travel Readiness: Openness to rigorous travel across the assigned territory to provide timely support and feedback to the team.
  • Team Motivation and Leadership: Motivate the team, build trust, and lead from the front.
  • Innovation and Execution: Foster innovation and drive execution to meet assigned results effectively.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Act as a bridge between the respective team and other functions for smooth clinical operations.
  • Analytical Ability: Demonstrate strong business skills and analytical abilities.
  • Direct Team Management: Directly manage a team of 22 individuals, including client advisors and audiologists.

Key Responsibilities:

Revenue Generation and Management:

  • Collaborate with Regional and Sales Directors to propose and set area budgets and sales targets.
  • Ensure sales growth and performance development through store visits and monitoring of KPIs/sales funnel.
  • Monitor Area Sales and KPIs, implementing corrective actions through store visits and other tools.
  • Support stores in customer acquisition and assist in implementing CRM initiatives.
  • Support Area Marketing initiatives in collaboration with the Marketing Team.

People Management and Organization Effectiveness:

  • Manage people in the store focusing on performance and learning needs, in coordination with Regional Directors, HR, Shop Managers, and the training team.
  • Organize regular area meetings to align stores on targets and company projects.
  • Foster team spirit and collaboration in the store, driving results and motivating people.
  • Share responsibility for managing the recruiting processes of Hearing Care Professionals and Client Advisors with Regional Directors and HR.

Operational Excellence, Network Development, and Footprint Optimization:

  • Ensure optimal area coverage and efficient agenda management to achieve sales funnel optimization and pursue untapped business opportunities.
  • Explore further business growth opportunities and network development in the assigned area, proposing new store openings and relocations.
  • Lead the adoption and implementation of key group sales initiatives and projects at the area level.
  • Ensure smooth store operations within compliance guidelines to support business.

Medical Area Management:

  • Develop a solid ENT network through regular visits.
  • Ensure compliance in all medical activities in the area.
  • Manage the medical promotion budget along with the Regional Manager.

Requisite Skills:

  • Master’s degree or MBA in Sales and Marketing or Economics.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience, including team handling.
  • Exceptional ability to grasp complex concepts quickly.
  • Strong connection with customers regarding latest trends, clinical insights, and product knowledge.
  • Proficient in acquiring, interpreting, and communicating information effectively.
  • Clear presentation of ideas in both written and verbal forms.
  • Excellent communication skills.
