Engineering Manager

Experience: 12+ Years

Responsibilities:

·       Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

·       Provide guidance and support to team members, facilitating their growth both technically and professionally.

·       Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and accountability within the engineering team.

·       Develop and execute the technical roadmap for the e-commerce platform, leveraging React Native for mobile app development.

·       Architect scalable and reliable systems on cloud platforms such as Azure and GCP, ensuring optimal performance and cost efficiency.

·       Collaborate with data science teams to integrate data-driven insights and personalization features into the platform.

·       Oversee the end-to-end software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.

·       Work closely with cross-functional teams to plan and execute project deliverables within established timelines and budgets.

·       Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.

·       Establish and enforce quality assurance processes, including code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).

·       Implement monitoring and analytics solutions to track platform performance and user engagement, utilizing data science techniques where applicable.

·       Collaborate with the QA team to ensure thorough testing of new features and enhancements, maintaining a high level of product quality.

Qualifications:

·       Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

·       12+  years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on e-commerce platforms or similar web-based applications.

·       Proven leadership experience, with the ability to lead and motivate a team of engineers effectively.
