Finance Controller

Key Responsibilities:

Finance Controllership – Inventory management, bookkeeping / accounting / statutory Audit monthly timely closure and compliance. Preparation and Finalisation of the monthly book closure along with Financials and Schedule preparations. Driving the key KPI driven PL improvements tracks with the relevant business and Business Finance Teams. Formalising the SOP for various accounting processes (both operations and control process) along with the necessary accounting treatments.

Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders, including financial statements, profit and loss statements, and cash flow projections. Communicate financial insights to the management team.

Financial Strategy: Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives. Provide strategic recommendations to the management team based on financial analysis and projections.

Compliance and Audit: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards. Coordinate financial audits and liaise with auditors to facilitate the audit process. Responsible for the liaison with internal and external auditors and ensure compliance with the accounting regulations. Responsible for driving internal audit and statutory audit at defined intervals and ensuring the closure on a timely basis.

Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of finance professionals. Provide guidance, training, and support to enhance their skills and performance.

Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and Supply chain / Warehousing (operations), to achieve financial objectives.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field. CA is Must.
  • Proven experience in financial management and Control.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, reporting standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in ZOHO Books.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
