Industrial Designer

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Designer to drive and support our Pune design team development with customers and innovation design projects. You will work in a front-line design position creating & driving a team for 3D Modelling, visualization solutions for projects, with the ambition to work more for Indian markets and manage key projects, timeline, and quotes. You will work connected to a real global Industrial design network developing high quality photorealistic 3D modelling visualizations in the form of renderings, animations and Virtual Reality to support all different industrial design projects. We expect a high level of aesthetical sensibility to be able to deliver visual output with a potential wow effect.

In this position you will be responsible for executing the technical (realization) process focused on polygon modelling (but also other surfacing tools), composition, pre and post processing and output accuracy. Acting as a main contributor or responsible of visualization offering to customer, you should be able to understand gaps in competencies and provide expert knowledge of process and services for customers. 
Essential is a high level of experience in using high level digital visualization tools, work experience in the car industry, more specific into seating, Interiors and HMI will be beneficial.

High interest in trying, applying, and experimenting with new digital tools or new ways of creating top visual output is very important. Being an excellent team player is key as our team is rather young but highly visible and unique in the local context of our company with a global look on the services we should deliver.  

Skills: 

• Lead multi-disciplinary teams in design projects. Guide the direction and push the quality of the work. Manage and maintain team motivation and morale.
• Awareness of where digital design is going and have a keen interest in digital creative, social, cultural, technology and business trends
• Manage client and partner relationships. Facilitate co-creation sessions/workshops.
• Auto-entrepreneurial mindset or strong determination to support the team on all aspects of ID process. 
• Possess a strong aesthetic sensibility and a great eye for detail
• Excellent communication skills required to allow a quick network building
• Coordination with internal and external teams for team collaboration 
• Strong communication skills (visual, written and verbal) 
• Ability to multi-task and establish priorities with multiple projects simultaneously

• Must know how to Work with remote teams independently.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor/Master’s Degree preferred in Architecture, Interior Design, Industrial Design or similar. 
• 04+ years of experience in industrial design
• You are a real team player
• Portfolio demonstrating your ability to creating impactful design stories
• High taste level + deep understanding of form language
• A seasoned understanding of how things work and are made
• Strong knowledge of design process + time/project management
• Proven ability to mentor and develop skills in others
• Ability to thrive in a place of rapid growth + change
• Experience using VR, Adobe Suite and CAD surface modeling
• Experience outside of automotive is a plus
