Assistant General Manager - Logistics Sales

Looking for candidate having experience in Warehouse and 3PL Sales domain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and enhance market penetration in the South region.
  • Lead and manage the sales team to drive performance, set goals, and ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Identify new business opportunities and potential clients within the region and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, marketing, and finance to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
  • Provide regular reporting and analysis of sales performance, market trends, and business insights to senior management.
  • Implement sales processes, systems, and best practices to optimize efficiency and effectiveness within the sales team.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to promote brand awareness and foster business relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all sales activities.

Professional Attributes:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles within the logistics industry, with a minimum of 8-12 years of experience.
  • Strong understanding of the logistics and supply chain industry, including knowledge of market dynamics, trends, and customer requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a sales team, drive performance, and achieve sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with analytical skills and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to travel within the South region and occasionally nationally as required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other software.
  • Strong leadership qualities with a focus on integrity, accountability, and teamwork.
