Lead Architect IAM (Identity & Access Management)

Role Overview:
As a member of the Information Security division, your mission is to safeguard the organization's information systems and IT assets from cyber threats, unauthorized modifications, data breaches, and other IT-related crimes. Your responsibilities will include ensuring robust procedures, policies, and processes are in place, and that these are aligned with and approved by key stakeholders.

Areas of Specialty
Your work in Information Security may involve one or more of the following areas:

  • Identity & Access Management (IAM): Including aspects such as authentication, access control, and recertification.
  • Information Security Operations: Encompassing cyber threat response, cyber forensics, and data leakage prevention.
  • Information Security Technology: Covering IS architecture, engineering, and cryptographic services.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Educational Background: Completed studies or vocational training with a focus on (business) informatics or a similar field.
  • Professional Experience: Over 5 years of experience in a leadership or project management role.
  • IAM Expertise: Proficiency in Identity and Access Management, with a strong emphasis on security.
  • Project Experience: Demonstrable experience in managing IT projects and adhering to enterprise architecture standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to convey complex issues clearly.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment, with strong teamwork and communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate potential information security threats, assessing their likelihood and impact, and implementing appropriate mitigations.
  • Monitor and support the execution of the information security strategy.
  • Assess the effectiveness of internal controls related to information security risks.
  • Ensure that procedures, policies, and processes are in place, aligned, and agreed with stakeholders.
  • Develop strategies to deliver effective controls and meet information security management objectives.
  • Manage relationships with clients and maintain a focus on the information security agenda.
  • Oversee the migration of legacy IAM applications to the cloud.
  • Facilitate technical discussions, coordinate with stakeholders, and lead meetings to resolve issues.
  • Communicate with senior stakeholders and lead incident management for major incidents.

Consultation Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement Identity & Access Management solution architectures within the department, covering processes, systems, and data.
  • Support the migration of IAM tools from on-premises (OneIdentityManager/RSA Aveksa/...) to the Google Cloud Platform (ForgeRock).
  • Ensure high-quality IT development in business, application, and data areas.
  • Design and evaluate IT changes in collaboration with departments and external partners in a cross-functional team.
  • Document and ensure quality assurance of actual and target architecture using tools like Sparx Enterprise Architect, Confluence, and MS Visio.
