Senior Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve quarterly and annual sales targets for air and sea freight forwarding services.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, prospecting, and networking.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients to secure profitable business deals.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to stay informed and competitive.
  • Collaborate with the operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and training to the sales team to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote our services and expand our network.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in sales within the air and sea freight forwarding industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • In-depth knowledge of air and sea freight forwarding operations, regulations, and market dynamics.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics and other sales tools.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
