Test Automation Engineer with DevOps

About the Project:

Our Engineering Enablement Department aims to accelerate our teams worldwide. We strive to provide teams with a set of tools and services to unlock their full potential. In short, we enable them to deliver quality customer value quickly and autonomously. The tools and services we provide are built with and for our engineering community.

As an engineer in engineering enablement, you will support, provide tools, frameworks, and guidance.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain the quality platform designed for use by our engineers.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills, paired with proven experience in Agile methodologies, preferably Scrum.
  • Leverage your expertise in test automation and test data management tooling - Cypress, Playwright, Karate Framework, and Packt to ensure top-notch quality.
  • Develop the performance testing solution and support the engineering teams in its implementation.
  • Possess fundamental knowledge of Kafka.
  • Collaborate proactively with other product/application teams to help improve business systems.
  • Role is predominantly DevOps with strong knowledge in one specific area, e.g., Kubernetes/Kafka/Performance Testing expertise.
  • Must have: DevOps experience in setting up CI/CD pipeline and understanding where test automation fits in the pipeline to build this pipeline from a release engineering aspect.
  • Must have: Strong knowledge in one of these areas: Kubernetes, Kafka, or Performance Testing expertise.

Technical Requirements:

  • Experience setting up a test automation solution for API, UI, and Kafka applications (Karate framework, Playwright).
  • Hands-on experience with managing Kubernetes.
  • Experience in performance testing to ensure the smooth operation of business platforms.
  • Experience in testing Java using Gatlin.
  • Proficiency in using GitHub and GitHub Actions for effective version control.
  • Nice to have experience with Azure Cloud Services.

Other desirable qualities include proactive stakeholder communication, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to thrive in a team environment.
