Business Development Manager - West (Proximity Sensors)

Position Title: Business Development Manager - West (Proximity Sensors) 
Minimum Educational Qualification Required: - Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation Engineer
Experience Required: 5-10 Years.
Location: Bhosari, Pune

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Identify , qualify and start generating new accounts in identified business segments within the region as primary focus. Also screen accounts of partners by visiting every account, nurture existing business and create upselling/cross selling opportunities.
  • Building a network within the targeted market segments
  • Management of sales funnel and systematic follow-up
  • Regular reports and monthly review with management
  • Study market, competition and work out Strategic Marketing Plan to broaden market coverage and increase penetration
  • Work closely with ASM and compliment efforts to increase share of wallet in the region for Gefran portfolio
  • Maintain full record of sales activities through CRM and provide monthly update and rolling forecast for a quarter every month

KPI

  • Revenue for products and segments
  • Number of new customers
  • Quantity and quality of generated leads
  • Minimum 10 customer visits for week

Technical Competencies

  • Making techno-commercial offers, negotiation and closing orders
  • Develop new accounts for recurring business
  • Conducting effective promotional sales activities
  • Good knowledge of Sensors-components portfolio and industry segments
  • Good track record of customer relationship
  • Ability to grasp purchase process of different kind of customers (small, medium, large accounts) and build rapport with all the stake holders
  • IT-skills: MS-Office, standard software, preferably SAP and CRM
  • Business Reporting
