MEDICAL DRUGS MARKETING LEAD

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy and Project Management  
    • Develop, create, lead the execution of the marketing activities for assigned pharmaceutical products.
    • Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.
    • Work closely, train, and support cross-functional teams (sales, medical affairs, regulatory, etc.) to ensure alignment with marketing goals.
    • Collaborate with R&D and regulatory teams to ensure all marketing materials comply with local and global regulations.
  • Campaign Management:
    • Work on the creation, execution, and optimization of multi-channel marketing campaigns 
    • Ensure marketing initiatives are data-driven, focusing on ROI and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Market Analysis:
    • Conduct in-depth market research to understand customer segments, competitive landscape, and unmet needs.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    • Ensure promotional materials are reviewed and approved according to company policies and legal standards.
  • Customer Engagement:
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, and industry stakeholders.
  • Leadership:
    • Lead, mentor, and develop professional capabilities of the marketing specialist(s) 

Requirements:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical or Economics, or a related field 
  • Experience:
    • At least 3-5 years in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
    • Proven track record in successfully launching and marketing medical drugs or related products.
    • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical industry (FDA, EMA, etc.).
    • Experience in managing marketing budgets.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent strategic thinking and analytical skills.
    • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, 
    • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.

Key Competencies:

  • Strong business acumen and understanding of pharmaceutical markets.
  • Excellent relationship management skills.
  • Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments while maintaining a focus on innovation and customer needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in specialty pharmaceutical sectors such as ophthalmology
