Indirect Tax
- Automate the GST compliance process for India and lead the creation of necessary reports.
- Provide the required inputs to the external consultants for preparation of returns.
- Review and file the monthly GST returns as prepared.
Direct Tax - Strengthen the TDS/TCS process in India:
- Identify the right TDS/TCS setup for vendors and customers.
- Monthly review of invoices recorded and make corrections if any required.
- Liaising with external tax consultants for payment of monthly TDS/TCS.
- Preparation and submission of quarterly TDS/TCS returns.
- Co-ordinate with Tax Auditors for Corporate Income tax.
- Take up any additional compliances required in direct and indirect taxation.
Accounting
- Ensure that the recorded data by the accounting shared service team is accurate, on time, and comply with the accounting standards.
- Automate wherever possible, processes, to ensure minimal intervention of the local team.
- Co-ordinate with the external auditors for the annual audit of the company and provide all required information.
