Role: Tech Lead
Location: Chennai (Onsite)
Working Model: 6 days a week [2nd & 4th Saturdays off; Working Saturdays are WFH]
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Tech Lead to join a leading health insurance provider headquartered in Chennai. This role involves providing technical leadership and mentorship to the development team, ensuring high code quality, and designing scalable software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership and Mentorship: Guide and mentor the development team in Java and related technologies. Make key decisions on software architecture and design patterns.
Code Quality and Standards: Ensure high standards of code quality through the enforcement of coding standards, code reviews, and adherence to best practices for maintainability and readability.
Solution Design and Architecture: Collaborate with stakeholders to design scalable and efficient software solutions. Select appropriate frameworks and tools within the Java ecosystem.
Project Planning and Execution: Participate in project planning, including task estimation, priority setting, and milestone definition, to ensure timely and quality delivery.
Collaboration and Communication: Facilitate effective communication between teams, align technical and functional requirements, and explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Tech Stacks:
- Tools & Platforms: JIRA and Confluence, QBase systems, GIT
- Methodologies: Agile and Scrum
- Key Technologies: Java, Spring Boot, Microservices or REST API
- Build Tools: Gradle or Maven
- Databases: MySQL, SQL, or MongoDB
- Additional Technologies: API Gateway/Controllers, Dockers, GCP, AWS, Azure
- Systems: Event Driven Systems or Queue-Based Systems
- Testing: Testing, Debugging, Unit Testing
- Design Patterns: Experience with design patterns is required
