Role Overview: The Professional will play a critical role in managing and overseeing legal matters related to the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) and other related regulatory bodies. This position requires a thorough understanding of the legal and procedural requirements of the NCLT, as well as the ability to manage complex cases and ensure compliance with corporate laws.

Key Responsibilities:

Legal Representation and Case Management:

• Represent KLJ Group in NCLT proceedings and other regulatory forums.
• Prepare and file petitions, replies, and other legal documents with the NCLT.
• Manage and oversee ongoing cases, including scheduling hearings and preparing case strategies.

Compliance and Advisory:

• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines related to the NCLT.
• Provide legal advice and support on matters related to corporate restructuring, insolvency, and other regulatory issues.
• Monitor changes in regulations and advise on their impact on the company’s operations.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of all legal proceedings and correspondence.
• Prepare detailed reports and updates for senior management on ongoing cases and legal developments.

Liaison and Coordination:

• Coordinate with external legal counsel, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders.
• Work closely with internal departments, including finance and compliance, to ensure alignment with legal requirements.

Training and Development:

• Provide training and guidance to internal teams on NCLT-related matters and compliance requirements.
• Stay updated on industry trends and legal practices to enhance the team’s knowledge base.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution. A Master’s degree or relevant post-graduate qualifications would be advantageous.
• Skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of the NCLT processes and procedures.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
