They specialize in in-flight entertainment and connectivity solutions for commercial airlines, offering a wide range of products and services, including high-speed in-flight internet, live television, and advanced entertainment systems. Having a global presence across 50 locations, they are currently in the process of setting up a state-of-the-art technology center in Pune, India, which will be dedicated to developing advanced inflight entertainment and connectivity solutions, leveraging the latest technologies and industry best practices.
Role details:
- Title / Designation: Senior Test Automation Engineer
- Reporting Manager: Senior Test Lead
- Location: Pune
- Work Mode: Work from Office
Role & responsibilities:
- Perform various types of testing including black box/ manual/ functional/ smoke/integration testing, on embedded systems, including hardware and software components.
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Implement frontend and backend automation to streamline testing processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and bugs promptly.
Candidate requirements:
- Minimum 3 years’ hands on experience in automation testing, preferably into in Wi-Fi, IoT, and Networking related technologies.
- Experience in UI testing including manual and functional testing, on embedded systems, including hardware and software components.
- Proficiency in LINUX commands.
- Experience in testing domains such as embedded systems or the automotive industry is preferred.
- Develop and maintain scripts using Python with Selenium or Shell
- Good to have experience in Testing methods like Black box, smoke, integration etc.
- Work environment will be 70% lab work involving hands-on testing and troubleshooting, and the remaining as desk work involving script development, test planning, and documentation.
