Our client, an International Holding, is looking for a Head of Payroll Unit.
Responsibilities:
Leading a team of 5 accountants;
Calculating salaries for expatriate employees;
Preparing payroll and tax reports for state, and local agencies;
Leading automation projects in 1C Payroll 8.3;
Calculating salaries, overtime earnings, and vacation deductions;
Generating payroll reports;
Providing awareness sessions for employees regarding payroll issues.
Requirements:
An associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting;
A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Payroll Accountant, of which 3 years as Head of Payroll or Senior Accountant;
Proficiency in Payroll Software, such as 1C Payroll 8.3, Oracle is an advantage;
Fluent English;
Experience in automation of payroll procedures;
Extensive experience in preparing ledger entries and processing payments;
In-depth knowledge of applicable tax laws, including non-residents
Experience in preparing payroll and tax reports, as well as answering payroll inquiries;
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
