Regional Finance Reporting Analyst

Our client specializes in building gas, water/sewage, and electricity networks, constructing up to 45-50 km of gas distribution pipelines annually. They take on challenging projects that demand meticulous attention to detail and precise execution.

Their waterworks projects include water supply installations, wastewater evacuation systems, and fire suppression systems for municipalities, large shopping centers, and grain storage facilities.

Scope of the role:

  • Consolidate production reports from entities/countries (Germany, Canada, France) and perform centralized analysis. Assist direct boss regional CFO in mainaining all the foreign entities analysis reports.
  • Monthly analysis of the expenses from Microsoft Project.
  • Upload certain documents into a national system.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring accurate and efficient application of our internal finance processes for the foreign subsidiaries.
  • Verify that all upcoming invoices are loaded into the accounting software from Germany.
  • Verify that all upcoming invoices for Germany have been registered in the Romanian software.
  • Responsible for monthly check and archiving of fiscal declarations and accounting reports from all foreign subsidiaries.
  • Prepare the list of invoices to be paid weekly.
  • Perform administrative duties related to our international business activities.
  • Monthly analysis of expenses using Microsoft Project.
  • Provide support for drafting working procedures for external countries.
  • Create new reports as needed by the supervisor.
  • Carry out any other additional tasks and projects assigned by the supervisor.
  • Actively seek continuous improvement, enhancing efficiency and implementing best practices and procedures.
  • Upload specific documents into a national system (Daven: TBC).
  • Consolidate production reports from entities in Germany, Canada, and France, and conduct centralized analyses
  • Knowledge and Skills:

  • Relevant university degree (economics, accounting).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in reporting and finance, preferably in an international, cross-cultural work environment.
  • Proficiency in English required; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in the rest of the Microsoft Office package.
  • Good proficiency in English.
  • Basic knowledge of German is not mandatory but would be nice to have.
  • Microsoft Project is a big plus.
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
