Job Title: Orthopedic Assistant Consultant

JOB SUMMARY:
Exciting opportunity as Assistant Orthopedic Consultant in Orthopedics at a prestigious hospital in Saudi Arabia, you would assist in delivering comprehensive orthopedic care under the guidance of orthopedic consultants. Your responsibilities would include patient evaluation, participation in orthopedic surgeries, and actively contributing to the orthopedic care team. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Demonstrate advanced clinical skills in the Orthopedics field.
- Manage complex medical cases independently.
- Provide leadership in delivering high-quality patient care.
- Supervise and mentor junior medical staff and residents.
- Contribute to the training and development of medical teams.
- Collaborate closely with consultants and specialists in multidisciplinary teams.
- Offer expert consultations on challenging medical cases.
- Engage in clinical research activities.
- Contribute to academic programs, teaching, and training initiatives.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Implement and adhere to evidence-based medical practices.
- Assume leadership responsibilities within the medical department.
- Contribute to decision-making processes related to patient care and departmental policies.
- Pursue continuous professional development and stay abreast of advancements in the medical field.
- Attend conferences and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Advocate for patient rights and welfare.
- Ensure a patient-centered approach in medical care.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulations.
- Lead and participate in emergency medical responses.
- Provide expertise in critical and urgent medical situations.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Graduate from a medical school of good standing.
- Completion of required period of training in specialty and/or Subspecialty
- Saudi Arab or American /European Board Certification or equivalent.
- Membership and/or Fellowship status in America and/or Europe or their equivalent and fulfilling the criteria for Senior Registrar as required
- A certificate recognized by the Saudi Commission is a must
- Dataflow is a must.
Professional Experience
- +2 years experience after certification.
- A registered member of the Saudi Board Council is preferable
Language
- Proficiency in English; additional proficiency in Arabic may be beneficial.
