THE PROJECT
Our client is seeking an experienced and self-driven Application Security Analyst to secure applications and systems within a telecommunications setting.
Responsibilities:
- Assessing business requirements and reviewing software architecture.
- Conducting source code reviews and performing static (SAST) and dynamic (DAST) security testing.
- Performing penetration testing on software.
- Collaborating closely with development teams to address security vulnerabilities in the code.
- Bringing expertise in code review and a deep understanding of modern application architecture and programming languages, particularly Java and JavaScript.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, IT, mathematics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in application security. Around 2-3 years of experience.
- Prior experience in code review and penetration testing (like Burp Suite)
- Strong knowledge of information security principles and practices, including data protection.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
