Chief Information Officer (CIO)

We are looking for a visionary and dynamic Chief Information Officer (CIO) to spearhead our company's digital transformation. In this critical role, you will oversee the entire IT function across the group, driving innovation and aligning technology with our strategic business goals. You will lead teams responsible for application and platform management, infrastructure, project management, and process automation. We seek a strategic leader with extensive experience in guiding both people and processes, capable of shaping the technological future of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing IT team (including infrastructure, applications, and PMO) to achieve exceptional results and drive technological innovation
• Lead the design and execution of cutting-edge IT strategies that propel the business forward
• Ensure seamless alignment with overarching business objectives
• Forge strong partnerships with all divisions, translating their technological needs into actionable IT solutions
• Provide robust support to enhance organizational efficiency
• Manage the IT budget strategically, optimizing resource allocation and cost efficiency
• Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring emerging technologies. Evaluate their potential impact and lead the implementation of transformative innovations to maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements:

• Significant previous experience in IT leadership roles
• Proven track record in strategic planning and successful execution of IT initiatives.
• Deep knowledge of IT architecture, network infrastructure, security systems, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA). Preference for experience in S/4HANA implementation
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex, high-stakes projects
• Introduce groundbreaking technological advancements
• Expertise in managing IT budgets
• Skilful negotiation of vendor contracts to achieve cost-effective solutions
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, management, or a related field
• Capacity to generate and apply novel ideas to address organizational IT challenges
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills to inspire and galvanize the IT team

Personal Competencies / Soft Skills:

• Strategic thinking, understanding the big picture and the business impact of IT decisions. He/She will consider 
  ROI, dependencies, team member needs, and challenges to maximize company-wide success
• Beyond technical expertise, a CIO should be an effective communicator. He/She will adapt to change, prioritize 
  projects, and explain the importance of new technology to business users. Good communication is essential for 
  accelerating business objectives
• Ability to make quick and efficient decisions oriented toward results. He/She will evaluate risks and pivot IT 
  projects as needed
• Ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization. Connecting with stakeholders and external 
  partners is crucial for success
• Ability to initiate and implement positive changes within the organization. He/She will drive innovation and adapt 
  to evolving technology
• Upholding integrity and ethical standards is fundamental.
