AR and AP Specialist - Jucu

Company Summary:

Our client is a dynamic international organization, a global market leader for customized material handling systems based on spiral conveying technology. The company is based in Netherlands and operates in Romania through the branch of Jucu, Cluj County.

Job Summary: 

Responsible for processing invoices, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring timely and accurate payment of all company expenditures. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing the sales invoices to the customers for the machines delivered from Romania
• Process advanced and final sales invoices in the ERP-system in accordance with the order confirmation by sales and the purchase order by the customer.
• Follow up on the client contract’s covenants and conditions before issuing any fiscal invoice
• Ensuring that the documentation surrounding intra-Community deliveries and sales are in accordance with the requirements of the Romanian tax authorities – task to be covered together with the FM
• Discuss with the sales department how to sort out differences between invoice, order confirmation and/or purchase order.
• Upload invoices to customer portals.
• Create credit invoices (in necessary) and/or invoices with miscellaneous charges (warranty).
• Follow up on overdue payments.
• Other supporting administrative (ad hoc) work.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Fluent in English, both oral and written.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Experience with working with ERP-systems (preferred).
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
